About the Owners of Unabashedly Patriotic
Mike
I grew up in your average middle-class, blue-collar home as the middle of 4 children. Military service is in my blood, the son of a Vietnam Veteran and Grandson of a WWII Veteran. After 6 years of active-duty US Navy, I served another 17 years in Law enforcement, retiring in 2016 with a total of 23 years under the oath to “Uphold and Defend the Constitution of the United States of America."
Travis
The son of a Vietnam Veteran, I grew up in a blue-collar home learning to work hard to appreciate what is earned. Through high school and college, I worked in the grocery store industry to help pay my way through college. At the age of twenty-one, I started my career in law enforcement proudly serving and protecting the northern Colorado community for nearly twenty-eight years, before retiring in 2023. The first step of this career was to swear to uphold the United States Constitution.
By Spring of 2020, America was at a crossroads. A "pandemic" that saw government officials at every level and unelected bureaucrats arbitrarily stripping freedoms from Americans, followed by months of riots across the country that put first responders in the crosshairs. Then came the "withdrawal" from Afghanistan leaving the morale of the American Military in shambles.
Not only were those Travis and Mike spent a lifetime working with being unfairly targeted, but American Patriotism was at an all time low. They set out on a mission......to put that Unapologetic Love of America back on its rightful pedestal as a vehicle to give back to the families of the American Heroes that have paid the highest price for Freedom and Liberty.
Admittedly, we have a LONG way to go, not just for American Patriotism, but for the families of those that have paid so dearly.
In late 2022 Travis and Mike sat at the kitchen table and scratched out some ideas. We officially kicked off Unabashedly Patriotic in June 2023.
